HOW magazine

Yesterday I was reading HOW magazine and started to remember all the creative covers they have design over the years, and how they have come up with new variations of design without distorting the font uses in the name in every issue. We have see the HOW title in a building, a tattoo, found typography, and even type created by objects. This is really an example of when we use the cliche phrase: " Thinking outside the box "

  1. nicely done. can you think of or find any other magazine covers that operate in the same way? or maybe, when did the convention of putting part of the cover image over the title begin?
